Valerie grew up on the beaches of Southern California. Valerie came to Colorado for the mountains because she loves all of the mountain activities and has found a place that truly feels like home. Valerie graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She currently works with those who are experiencing homelessness along with their pets. Valerie is on track to complete her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2023. In her spare time, Valerie likes to be with her dog and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, or skiing. Valerie also likes to cook and bake for her loved ones.
